At the Avalon Yacht Club, sailing is more than a pastime - it’s a defining part of Club life. 

From competitive racing to our longstanding junior program, AYC fosters camaraderie, skill development, and a lifelong connection to the water.

RACING & SAILING

Avalon Yacht Club offers a dynamic sailing program for both adults & juniors, with opportunities ranging from casual weekend racing to competitive regattas
Members sail a variety of boats including Optimists, Sunfish, Lasers, Club 420s, and select offshore classes, with an active calendar throughout the season.

REGATTAS & EVENTS

Throughout the season, AYC hosts a variety of regattas and organized sailing events, bringing together members and visiting sailors for both competitive and social experiences on the water.

JUNIOR SAILING

AYC’s Junior Sailing Program introduces young sailors to the water in a supportive and engaging environment, building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the sport.
Programs are offered for a range of ages and skill levels, combining instruction, on-the-water experience, and opportunities to participate in regattas throughout the season.

Member Sailing Information

Members can access full sailing schedules, class information, boat sticker & registration forms, race calendars, and program materials through the Member Portal. (Registration Opens April 2027).
