Dear Future Avalon Yacht Club Member,
Thank you for your interest and your initiative for applying to become a member of the Avalon Yacht Club (AYC). At the AYC, a variety of entertainment events are scheduled throughout the season which include live dance music, formal evenings, deck parties, theme nights, golf outings, tennis and fishing tournaments, bridge, sailing regattas, family fun days and more! In the dining room of our beautiful Club House, a delicious and varied menu is offered by a cordial staff. The adjacent Grill Room offers an informal menu and an atmosphere for relaxed conversation. The bay views and sunsets are no doubt the most spectacular views on Seven-mile Island. The AYC has a convenient marina which is right by Townsend Inlet for easy access to the ocean. As a member you have the opportunity to rent boat slips in our Marina.
The Avalon Yacht Club has a wonderful Youth and Sailing camp for your children and grandchildren. This entails sailing lessons for all levels of sailors taught by experienced instructors. For our younger children there is an Arts and Crafts program which is run by a certified educator. There are numerous evening events for the children through the summer months. Such as, Movie Night, Ice Cream Social, Mini-Golf, Deck Parties, and the wonderful Junior Commodores Ball (JCB).
Enclosed is a list of membership categories and fees, as well as a membership application. We look forward your completed application for our review.
To apply for either Annual or Individual memberships, please enclose a $250 non-refundable check and two letters of recommendation from current AYC Proprietary Members with your application. (Please do not send incomplete membership applications. Only properly completed applications with a check and two reference letters will be processed.) Upon receipt of your completed application your name will be placed on the AYC application processing list. If you have any questions, please call Brian Juliano at 609-967-4444.
